Connecting Low DC Power

To connect a low DC power supply to the device, do the following:
Note
The screw-type terminal block is installed using Phillips screws and compression
plates, allowing either bare wire connections or crimped terminal lugs. Use #6 size
ring lugs for secure, reliable screws, which must be removed to make connections.
Electrical hazard – risk of damage to equipment.
Do not connect AC power cables to a 12, 24 or 48 VDC power supply terminal block.
Damage to the power supply may occur.
When connecting the device to a DC power source, make sure the source provides
only positive voltage.

Connect the chassis ground screw to ground (Potential Earth). It is
recommended to terminate the ground connection with an M3 ring or spade
lug, and then torque to 1.7 N·m (15 lbf-in).
