MINOR MAINTENANCE TIPS
 Turn the key anticlockwise and push the lock into
the locator and turn the key clockwise such that the
cover is locked in position.
 Release Key and remove from the lock.
 It is not necessary to check the battery electrolyte
level or add distilled water as the battery is a
maintenance free (Sealed type)
 Clean the wire terminals free of corrosion and
keep the terminals coated with petroleum jelly.
W A R N I N G
Always disconnect the negative (-) battery cable first
and then the positive (+) cable while removing the
battery connections. If the positive (+ve) battery cable
should contact terminal with the negative (-ve) cable
installed, the resulting sparks may cause a battery
explosion which could result in serious injury.
W A R N I N G
Battery terminals and internals contain lead and lead
components, known to cause cancer and birth defects
or other reproductive harm. Always wear approved
protective face shield, rubberized gloves, and
protective clothing when working with batteries. KEEP
BATTERIES AND ACID OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN.
NOTE
1.
Usage of frequency for motorcycle is very
important for battery to be in good performance
condition. If the motorcycle is being used very
rarely or sparingly and the terminals are not
disconnected the battery is bound to lose its
charge and result in a dead battery.
2.
Your Battery is a maintenance free type and can
be permanently damaged if the cap strip is
removed.
