Below is a wiring example of a typical input circuit using a Proximity Sensor Switch. The
Proximity Switch has three wires. Blue will connect to negative, Brown to positive, and
Black is the signal which connects to the appropriate PLC Input. The sensor operates
when metal passes by the face. An LED light located on the sensor will indicate
operation. The batteries will supply the 24 Volts. All of the machine's Proximity Sensor
Switches are wired like this; the only difference is that the wires will pass though plugs
and junction blocks.
