Notes:
• For the tuner region "EUROPE": If the
priority for traffi c information is acti-
vated (the display shows the traffi c
jam symbol C), the device tunes to
next traffi c information station.
• If a programme type (PTY) is se-
lected, the device tunes to the
next station broadcasting this pro-
gramme type (not in the tuner region
"THAILAND").
Tuning into stations manually
You can also tune into stations manually.
Note:
In the tuner regions "EUROPE", "USA"
and "SOUTH AMERICA", the manual
station seek tuning is possible only if
the convenient RDS function is deacti-
vated and PTY is switched off.

This function is available only in the
tuner region "EUROPE".

If a radio station provides several pro-
grammes, you have the option of browsing
through its so-called "broadcasting net-
work".
Note:
The convenient RDS function must be
activated and PTY deactivated before
you can use this feature.

When using this feature, you will only
be able to switch to stations that you
have received once before already. To
receive the stations, use the Scan or
Travel Store function.
Adjusting the sensitivity of the
station seek tuning (Sensitivity)
You can select whether only strong stations
are adjusted in the FM or AM waveband or
weak ones, too. The sensitivity can be ad-
justed from 1 (low) to 6 (high).
u Press the TUNER button ?
The "Tuner" menu is displayed.

In FM mode only, press the NEXT but-
ton 2.
u Press the "Sensitivity" softkey 7.
u Press the softkey "FM" 6 or AM ;
repeatedly until the desired sensitiv-
ity level 1 to 6 appears behind "FM" or
"AM".
When you have fi nished making your
changes,
u press the OK button B.
