Selecting the wavebandl
memory bank
This device can be used to receive stations
in the FM and AM frequency bands. Three
memory banks (FM 1, FM2 and FMT) are
avai labIe for the FM waveband and two
memory banks (AM and AMT) for the AM
waveband.
Five stations can be stored in each memory
bank.
To switch between the FMl, FM2, FMT, AM,
and AMT memory banks,

Tuning into a station
There are various ways of tuning into a sta-
tion:
Automatic station seek tuning

button 0.
The radio tunes into the next receivable sta-
tion.
Tuning into stations manually
You can also tune into stations manually.

Adjusting the sensitivity of the
station seek tuning (SENS)
You can choose whether the radio should
only tune into stations providing good re-
ception or whether it can also tune into
those with aweak reception.

Radio mode

until lISENS" and the currently set value
appears on the display.
"SENS HIli means a high sensitivity,
"SENS LO" alow sensitivity.

.... Set the desired sensitivity level using

When you have finished making your
changes,

MENU

To exit the menu,
.... press the ESC button@.
Note:
You can adjust different sensitivities for
FM and AM.
Storing stations
Storing stations manually
.... Select the desired memory bank FM 1,
FM2, FMT, AM or AMT waveband.
.... Tune into the desired station.
.... Press and hold down one of the station
buttons 1 - 5

for longer than two
seconds to assign the station to that
button.
Storing stations automatically
(Travelstore)
You can automatically store the five sta-
tions offering the strongest reception in
the region for the FM and AM wavebands.
The stations are stored in the FMT or AMT
memory bank.
