8.0 Troubleshooting

Problem
1. Lack of power
2. Drill head won't return
3. Drill head will not come
down
Area to Check
Check voltage at machine – may be
low
Check for bind in lever assembly
Check lift spring – may be broken or
stuck
Check if pull down shaft is stuck in
frame
Check for broken lift – spring may
be jammed
8.0 Troubleshooting
Solution
Remove other machinery on line
or provide a separate branch
circuit
Free bind, clean and oil
Pry up head, clean and oil shaft
(Replace spring if necessary)
Pry up head, clean and oil shaft
(Replace spring if necessary)
Replace spring
