Fit and tighten the two M6x10 Pozidriv countersunk screws (6) into the top skid.

Testing the system

When you are satisfied that the system is properly connected, you should carry out a full system test
before entering the equipment into the pipe and commencing the survey.
WARNINGS:
1.
Before carrying out any testing, ensure the equipment has been properly prepared and connected as
detailed in this Section. Otherwise injury and/or damage may occur.
2.
The P571 will power up as soon as the mains lead is connected to an electricity supply.
2.5.1 Pre-survey checks

Communications
Refer to your Section 3 of this user manual to test the following functions:
1.
Power up the system.
2.
Ensure the monitor is showing a clear picture from your camera.
3.
Calibrate and display counter reading.
4.
Select camera information to check the camera communications.

Lights
Ensure that all lights on the P417 and P418 Lightheads illuminate when power is supplied to the camera.
Check that all monitor controls indicator lights work (See Section 3).

Camera Iris
At power up, the camera defaults to automatic iris operation. See Section 3 of this manual for details of
iris control.
