Repair 220C-2 and C-220C Cutting
Assembly
The 220C-2 and C-220C cutting assembly consists of
2 cutting shaft assembies, 2 stripper shrouds,
2 strippers, and 4 distance shafts. The stripper shrouds
and strippers fit around the cutting shaft assemblies.
The distance shafts hold the cutting assembly together
and attach to the right and left bearing plates.
To remove or replace cutting assembly components:

Remove the 4 screws and washers that hold the
distance shafts to the right bearing plate.

Remove the 4 screws and washers that hold the
distance shafts to the left bearing plate.

Remove the right bearing plate.

Slide the distance shafts out of the cutting
assembly.

Pull up and out on the stripper shrouds to remove
them from the cutting shafts.

Pull down and out on the strippers to remove
them from the cutting shafts.
7
Remove the 2 screws that hold the journal
bearing inset to the rear bearing plate.
8
Push the cutting shafts through the rear bearing
plate.
9
Slide the cutting shafts through the opening in the
rear bearing plate.
10
Replace cutting assembly components as
needed.
