1. Remove the lower dish rack.
2. Turn the cover on the dishwasher salt dis-
penser (18) anticlockwise and remove it.

3. Place the supplied filling funnel (b) on the
dispenser opening.
4. Fill the dishwasher salt dispenser with 1.5
kg of dishwasher salt. Water may run out
during the process; this is not a problem.
5. Stir the dishwasher salt using the end of a
spoon or similar.
6. Turn the cover of the dishwasher salt dis-
penser in a clockwise direction up to the
stop point.
7. Replace the lower dish rack.
8. Launch a wash programme straight away
or carry out a test run immediately upon
first use.
