5. Open the choke as the engine warms (n2).
WARNING
Personal injury hazard. ALWAYS test the function of the engine control module
before operating the trowel.
► DO NOT operate the trowel if the engine control module is not functioning
properly.
6. Test the engine control module. See the topic Testing the Engine Control
Module.
7. Open the throttle to operate the trowel (a2).
Notes ■ When operating on soft concrete, do not let the trowel stand in one spot too
long. Always lift the trowel from the slab when operation is complete.
■ "Left" and "Right" references are made from the operator's position.
WARNING
Personal injury hazard. Personnel other than the trowel operator should not be
allowed in the work area, as severe injury can occur from contact with operating
trowel blades.
► Only allow trowel operator in the area during trowel operation.
