BleeDinG FUel sYsteM

(1) Fuel Cock
(A) Close (B) Open
Air must be removed:
1. When the fuel filter or lines are re-
moved.
2. When tank is completely empty.
3. After the tractor has not been used
for a long period of time.
The air in fuel system is automatical-
ly removed when running the engine.

The method of airbleeding is as fol-
lowings.
1. Fill the tank with fuel.
2. Turn the fuel filter cock to the AIR
position.
3. Open the cock in the fuel injection
pump.
4. Start the engine and stop it after it
has run for one minute.

5. Close the fuel injection pump
cock.
( C) Airbleeding
6. Turn the fuel filter cock to the On
position.
The fuel pump cock must be

kept closed except when air-
bleeding. If not, it may cause
damage of the engine.
DRaininG clUtch hOUsinG
WateR
(1) Plug
Your tractor is equipped with a plug
under the clutch housing.
caUtiOn
After you operate your tractor in the
rain, snow, or after washing the trac-
tor, water may get into the clutch
housing. If this happens, remove the
plug in the clutch housing and drain
water. Remember to reinstall the plug
to avoid serious damage to clutch.
