Rear Brake
(for Disc)
Check the "Wear Indicator Grooves" (1) in
each pad.
If either pad is worn to the wear indicator
grooves, replace both pads as a set. Visit
your Honda dealer for this service.

BRAKE SHOE WEAR (for Drum)

Refer to the Safety Precautions on page 40.
The rear brake is equipped with a brake
wear indicator.
When the brake is applied, an "Arrow Mark"
(1) attached to the "Brake Arm" (2) moves
toward a "Reference Mark" (3) on the
"Brake Panel" (4). If the arrow aligns with
Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India Pvt. Ltd.
the reference mark on full application of the
brake, the brake shoes must be replaced.
Visit your Honda dealer for this service.

BATTERY

Refer to the safety precautions on page 40.
It is not necessary to check the battery
electrolyte level or add distilled water as
the battery is a maintenance-free (sealed)
type. If your battery seems weak and/or is
leaking electrolyte (causing hard starting
or other electrical troubles), contact your
Honda dealer or battery manufacturer.
