BRAKE SHOE WEAR

Refer to the Safety Precautions on page 6.
The rear brake is equipped with a brake
wear indicator.
When the brake is applied, an arrow (1)
attached to the brake arm (2) moves toward
a reference mark (3) on the brake panel
(4). If the arrow aligns with the reference
mark on full application of the brake, the
brake shoes must be replaced.
Visit your Honda dealer for this service.

BATTERY

Your vehicle has a maintenance-free type
battery. You do not have to check the
battery electrolyte level or add distilled
water. Clean the battery terminals if they
become dirty or corroded.
Do not remove the battery cap seals.
There is no need to remove the cap when
charging.
NOTICE
Your battery is maintenance-free type
and can be permanently damaged if the
cap strip is removed.
This symbol on the battery means
that this product must not be
treated as household waste.
NOTICE
An improperly disposed of battery can be
harmful to the environment and human
health.
