Notes regarding the service instructions The electric wiring of the devices must be completed by a specialist in accordance with all applicable national and local regulations. The Master/Slave operation must be installed by authorised personnel of Reflex Winkelmann GmbH. Note! Thoroughly read these instructions and follow them during installation.
Overview Function In a multiple-unit network, the water levels in the expansion tanks are monitored and maintained. The master controls the pressure in the slaves. The master transmits via RS-485 signal line its current level value to the slaves. The water level in the slave is regulated if the difference in water levels between master and slaves exceeds a specific value.
Connection Connection Connect the RS-485 signal line for master/slave operation on the controllers' circuit boards. Only a specialist (qualified electrician) is authorised to complete the connection which must be realised in accordance with national and location regulations. Proceed as follows: 1.
Connection Connecting the RS-485 with the Control Basic controller Danger – electric shock! • Risk of serious injury or death due to electric shock. Some parts of the device's circuit board may still carry 230 V voltage even with the device physically isolated from the power supply. –...
