GEONET ADDRESSABLE SENSOR NODES

GeoNet addressable sensor nodes enable communication with addressable
sensors, such as 6150F Addressable MEMS strings. See the figure below.

Addressable sensor nodes function in the same manner as other nodes, and can
be installed using the previous sections in the manual.

3.1 SENSOR WIRING

Complete the following before powering the node.
For sensors with a bulkhead connector attached, align the grooves on the
sensor connector (male), with the connector on the node (female). Push the
connector into place and then twist the outer ring of the male connector until it
locks. For sensors with bare leads, insert the lead wires into the node connector
as shown in Table 4 and Figure 18.
Once the wire connection is completed, power on the node. No other setup is
required with the hardware. The remaining configuration is completed using the
Agent software. Refer to the Agent instruction manual for more information.
