Engine Oil Level Check - MOTO GUZZI V7 III Manual

Engine oil level check (04_01, 04_02)

Check the engine oil level according to the indications in the periodic maintenance
table.
To check:
THE ENGINE OIL LEVEL MUST BE CHECK WITH THE ENGINE WAR AFTER
HAVING TRAVELED APPROXIMATELY 9.32 mi (15 km) ON OFF-ROAD

( ENOUGH TO WARM UP THE ENGINE OIL).
•
Stop the engine.
•
Keep the vehicle in a vertical position, with both wheels resting on the ground.
•
Unscrew, removing the oil refilling cap/dipstick and clean it.
•
Insert and completely screw in the oil refilling cap/dipstick.
•
Unscrew and remove the oil refilling cap/dipstick and check to ensure the
level is correct.
MAX = maximum level.
MIN = minimum level.
The difference between "MAX" and "MIN" is about 24.41 cu in (400 cc)

The correct oil level is near the "MAX" mark.
IMPORTANT
DO NOT GO BEYOND THE "MAX" AND BELOW THE "MIN" LEVEL MARK TO
AVOID SEVERE ENGINE DAMAGE.
