Getting Started - RAID Array 410 for HP-UX
5. Prior to configuring the RAID Array 410 as described in Chapter 2, power on the RAID
Controller for a minimum of 6 hours. The Write-Back Cache Module contains a battery
that may have discharged since the time it was factory-installed. If you attempt to initiate
any RAID commands when the battery in not charged, unspecified results may occur. The
battery will be fully recharged in the time specified.
6. Once the RAID Array is configured as described in Chapter 2 and the RAID Array is
connected to the host computer, the system can be brought up.
