41. NOAGITATION

Inoperative timer. Timer is designed to pause
(SOAK) during DELICATE cycle.
Motor will not run.
No Delicate cycle agitate.
Inoperative pressure switch.
Broken. loose, or incorrect wiring.
Loose or broken drive belt.
Inoperative transmission assembly.
Sheared motor pulley roll pin.
Motor overload protector has cycled.
Bind in pump.
Loading dcor is open or door switch is inoperative.
42. CONSTANT AGITATION
POSSIBLE CAUSE
lnoperntive timer.
Shorted or incorrect wiring.
Inoperative transmission assembly.

TO CORRECT
Test timer and replace it inoperative.
Reier to SECTION
v
to check switch and windings.
Reier to SECTION V to check low speed switch and
windings.
Test switch and replace if inoperative.
Refer to appropriate wiring diagram.
Adjust or replace belt.
Repair or replace transmission assembly.
Remove drive motor and replace roll pin and
any other damaged parts.
Wait two or three minutes for overload protector
to reset. If protector cycles repeatedly, refer to
paragraph 43.
Replace pump.
Close door or test switch and replace if inoperative.
TO CORRECT
Test timer and replace if inoperative.
Refer to appropriate wiring diagram.
Repair or replace transmission assembly.
