AUTOMATIC SWITCHING MODE

When Automatic Switching Mode is enabled, the switch will change inputs according to
the following rules:
• The switch will select the first available active input starting from input 1.
• The switch will change to the new input when a new input is detected.
• If power is lost, the switch will change to the last selected input when power is
restored.
• When an active input is removed, the switch will select the first available active
input starting from input 1.
• When one of the VIDEO SOURCE buttons on the front panel or the IR remote
control is pressed, the switch will change to the selected input if it is active. If the
selected input is inactive, the switch will select the first available active input
starting from input 1.

EDID MANAGEMENT

The Extended Display Identification Data (EDID®) is used to inform the video source device
of the audio and video capabilities of the connected display. Normally, this happens
automatically. However, if you want to force a particular EDID setting, you can use the
4-pin DIP switch on the rear panel to set a fixed EDID value.
Refer to the following table for the different EDID settings. Note that the switch represents
0 when it is down in the OFF position and it represents 1 when it is up in the ON position.
The switch settings are applied from left to right, 1 to 4, so 0001 has
switches 1, 2, and 3 in the 0 OFF position and switch 4 is in the 1 ON
position. The default DIP switch setting is 0000.
