Service

Introduction

This chapter contains service information for the Keysight E1465A/E1466A/
E1467A matrix modules, including troubleshooting techniques and
repair/maintenance guidelines.

Repair Strategy

Keysight Technologies recommends component replacement for the Keysight
E1465A/ E1466A/E1467A matrix modules. Procedures in this chapter describe
troubleshooting techniques. Schematics and Component Locators are located at
the back of this manual. Component level replaceable parts lists are contained in
Chapter 3 — Replaceable Parts. See Chapter 1 — General Information for a
description of relay life factors.

Equipment Required

Equipment required for matrix module troubleshooting and repair is listed in
Table 1-1, Recommended Test Equipment. Any equipment that satisfies the
requirements given in the table may be substituted.
To avoid damage to the screw head slots, use a T8 Torx driver to remove the front
panel handles and a T10 Torx driver to remove the shields.
