2.3.1 Power Module (HSU)

The power module HSU is mainly composed of a PV boost unit, battery bidirectional
conversion unit, and inverter/PFC unit. The HSU implements DC-DC conversion for PV input
to charge batteries, or stabilizes the bus voltage and then converts it into sine wave output
through the inverter (DC-AC). It also provides the power factor correction (PFC) function.
When there is no power from PV modules and batteries, the DG supplies power to the PFC
unit and battery bidirectional conversion unit to charge the batteries. The HSU also provides
AC power for customer equipment.
