Arming in STAY Mode
I
nterior Zones, when bypassed, allow for free movement within the home while the protection of armed perimeter
zones is maintained. To bypass Interior Zones, enter your User Code followed by STAY. The Hub green STA-
TUS light will blink and the yellow BYPASS light will turn on to indicate zones are bypassed. The words
STAY and ARMED will appear on the keypad display.
Automatic Interior Bypass
If your system was programmed with Interior Zones, the system will recognize when you have armed AWAY but
remained in the house, thereby prompting the system to automatically adjust the interior protection accordingly.

If you arm AWAY but do not exit (the exit door does not open and close), all Interior Zones will automatically
bypass at the end of the exit delay (thus arming STAY). The red ARMED and yellow BYPASS lights will turn
on, and the words STAY and ARMED will appear on the keypad display, indicating that it is safe to move
within the premises.

If you arm AWAY, do not exit and the system automatically reverts to armed STAY, then you later exit, the
Interior Zones will automatically unbypass, providing complete interior protection while you are away.
Instant Protection -- "Night Arming"
When retiring for the evening, after all family members are home, you can cancel the entry delay on the entry
zone(s). To arm with instant protection, enter your User Code, press STAY and hold for 2 seconds (then listen for
a beep). When armed with Instant Protection, opening the entry door after the exit day will cause an immediate
alarm.

When arming with Instant Protection, the exit delay will still remain in effect, allowing exit of the premises just
after arming.
While armed, the red ARMED light will rapidly flash to indicate instant protection. The words INSTANT and
ARMED will appear on the keypad display
