3-16 LUBRICATION

There are 54 grease points and 4 oil points on
the harrow. Before initial use, make sure these
points are supplied with grease. Lubricate all fit-
tings with a hand grease gun. Use a good grade of
bearing grease. Do not over-lubricate the bearings
- too much grease may damage the bearing seals.
While lubricating the machine, remember to
check frame for structural weaknesses and/or fa-
tigue. Make sure to check all bearings and u-bolts
for damage or wear.
