Wrap Seat Pad Around Bottom
and Sides of Shell
Pull the buckle strap and the harness
adjustment strap through the
openings in the seat pad.

Installing Buckle

Fully Recline Car Seat
The recline handle is at the front of
the car seat.

Insert Buckle's Metal
Retainer into Buckle
Slot Closest to Child

The buckle must face out.

Tuck the ends of the buckle cover

into the same pad slot as the buckle.
Rear-Facing Mode: You must use the 1st or 2nd buckle slot.
Forward-Facing Mode: Any slot can be used.

Reach Under Seat Between
Base and Shell
Pull the metal retainer completely
through the pad and shell.

Check Buckle
Pull up on the buckle to make sure
it is secured.
The buckle must not pull out.
