The support is available in a universal size.
4.2 Application
CAUTION
Incorrect or excessively tight application
Skin irritation due to overheating, local pressure points due to tight applic
ation to the body
► Ensure that the support is applied properly and fits correctly.
► Do not use the product in case of a known heat allergy.
► When in doubt, do not continue to use the product if skin irritation
occurs.
NOTICE
Use of a worn or damaged product
Limited effectiveness
► Instruct the patient to inspect the product for proper functionality, wear
and damage prior to each use.
► Advise the patient that the product must not be used if the product or
part of the product exhibits signs of wear (e.g. cracks, deformation,
poor fit) or damage.

Open all hook-and-loop closures on the support.
1) Pull the support over the lower arm (see fig. 2).
2) Position the pad of the support 5 cm below the elbow joint.
3) Pull the hook-and-loop strap so tight that you can still place a finger
under the strap (see fig. 3).
4.3 Cleaning
NOTICE
Use of improper cleaning agents
Damage to the product due to use of improper cleaning agents
► Only clean the product with the approved cleaning agents.
Clean the support regularly:
1) Fasten all hook-and-loop closures.
2) Recommendation: Use a laundry bag or net.
3) Wash the support in warm water at 40 °C with standard mild detergent.
Do not use fabric softener. Rinse thoroughly.
