Questions and answers
Greetings! How i can make to transfer another office calls to my phone? Nobody is in the office and im helping to answer their calls.
To transfer calls from another office to your Avaya J159 phone, the person handling the call in that office can follow these steps:
1. While on an active call, press the Transfer soft key or Transfer button. The call will be placed on hold, and the phone will display the Enter Transfer Destination screen.
2. Enter your extension number by:
- Dialing it directly.
- Searching for it in Contacts or Recents.
- Using the Redial button if applicable.
- Highlighting your extension on the screen and pressing the Transfer button.
3. Choose the transfer method:
- Consultative Transfer: Press Talk to connect with you first. Once you answer, the person can press Complete or Transfer to finalize the transfer.
- Blind Transfer: Press Complete or Transfer immediately after dialing your extension, and the call will be transferred without prior conversation.
This process allows calls from another office to be transferred to your Avaya J159 phone.
