    Installation RETAINING <LHD> CLIPS (5) Remove the driver’s dashboard side cover by releasing the five retaining clips. DRIVER’S DASHBOARD SIDE COVER 5513020S Remove the self-tapping screw. Pull down the HARNESS CLIP driver’s dashboard under cover to release the (if equipped) nine retaining clips.
  • Page 7 With the shift boot: Remove the change knob by rotating counter- TRIM RING clockwise. CHANGE KNOB Keep rotating the boot nut counterclockwise until the boot nut gets free from the change lever. BOOT NUT Open the lid. Gently pry up on the front of the trim ring to release the four clips, and remove the trim ring.

    Check After Installation Check the operation of the ipod adapter according to the provided Owner’s Manual. Check that all wire harnesses are routed properly and all connectors are plugged in. Reinstall all removed parts. Reconnect the negative (-) cable to the negative terminal of the battery. Turn the radio unit ON.
