1.14 Recorder (optional)
NOTE:The recording function of this unit is optional and
depends on the firmware version. The lower version may
not support the recording function. The recording of this unit
only supports recording in digital channel or digital mode.
The recording function will effectively record the entire
process of the call and save the call to the terminal. This
unit can record up to 5 hours. If you need a larger capacity
recording, please contact your dealer.

1.14.1 Turn ON-OFF the Recording

The menu functions as follows:
1) Press [MENU] key to enter the main menu.
2) Press [ ] / [ ] key to Settings, then Press [MENU] key
to select.
3) Press [ ] / [ ] key to Radio Settings, then Press
[MENU] key to select.
4) Press [ ] / [ ] key to Record, then press [MENU] key
to select.
5) Press [ ] / [ ] key to Setting, then press [MENU] key
to select.
6) Press [ ] / [ ] key to enter into option of "ON/OFF",
then press [MENU] key to select.
• After start the voice recorder function, the radio will record
for every call, and save into the record menu.
• If necessary, can ask dealer to pre-programmed the
[Record] key to turn on or turn off the function.

1.14.2 Recording Selection

The voice recorder for this radio can be select to receive
record, or transmit record, or receive and transmit record.
The menu functions as follows:
1) Press [MENU] key to enter the main menu.
2) Press [ ] / [ ] key to Settings, then Press [MENU] key
to select.
3) Press [ ] / [ ] key to Radio Settings, then Press
[MENU] key to select.
4) Press [ ] / [ ] key to Record, then press [MENU] key
to select.
5) Press [ ] / [ ] key to Setting, then press [MENU] key
to select.
6) Press [ ] / [ ] key to enter into the Record Sel, then
press [MENU] key to select.
7) The LCD screen will indicate choice of "Rx Record、Tx
Record、Rx/Tx Record", press [
and then press [MENU] to confirm.
• If select "Rx Record", only record the incoming call during
the communication;
• If select "Tx Record", only record the outgoing call during
the communication;
• If select "Rx/Tx Record", record both incoming call and
outgoing call during the communication.
