Troubleshooting
If there is any problem about the connection from MM8003 to computer, some possible
solutions might be:
•
Ensure that host PC is connected to MM8003 through USB cable provided in the box.
•
Remove old Virtual COM Port (VCP) drivers and install the latest one from CP210x
website.
•
Check for possible port issue by using a different USB port on the host PC.
•
Ensure that VCP driver is installed properly and is shown as 'Enhanced COM Port' in the
device manager.
If any problem occurs when connecting MM8003 to mobile device through BLE, some possible
solutions might be:
•
Ensure that MM8003 is powered by USB.
•
Reboot the mobile device if it cannot find MM8003 through mCube OSM APP.
•
Ensure the MM8003 is not connected to another mobile device.
•
Send identify command to ensure that mobile device is connected to the right MM8003.
•
If MM8003 is blinking in red, please reboot the device or send the 'mag calibration'
command to calibrate the magnetism data. MM8003 will output Euler angle after it is
calibrated.
