Notes on use in hazardous areas according to UL HazLoc

EXPLOSION HAZARD
Do not connect or disconnect while the circuit is live or unless the area is known to be free
of ignitible concentrations.
This equipment is suitable for use in Class I, Division 2, Groups A, B, C and D or non-
hazardous locations only.
This equipment is suitable for use in Class I, Zone 2, Group IIC or non-hazardous locations
only.
3.2

Installation and commissioning

NOTICE
Do not pull or plug the CP while power is on
The CP 443-5 Extended must not be pulled or plugged while the power is connected. In
some cases, this could lead to damage of the module.
If you do pull or plug the CP while power is on, the CPU changes to STOP.
Afterwards, the power for the central rack must be cycled.
