Error Log DUmp Procedure
The error log in RAM and system memory

dumped to diskette by us ing the
following procedure:
Leave
the
system in the normal
operating mode.
Press
the
Memory
Record
Button
once.
Error codes will be dis-
played.
(Refer to Figure 9-29)

all
diskettes
from
diskette
unit.
(The
Error
Dump Procedure will write over
information on the diskette or
Displaywriter inftialized type
diskette.)

Diskette Unit (6360) Head Alignment
Compatibility Check
This utility checks the compatibility
of the read/write head alignment of
two or more diskette drives by using
one diagnostic diskette.
One of three
results
will
be
displayed:
return
codes,
diskette
drive
problem,
or
unexpected diskette failure.
The
return codes of the diskette
drives
checked
are
compared
to
determine which diskette drive(s),
if any, need to be mechanically
checked and/or adjusted with the
head alignment procedure in this
manual.
The return codes +1, 0, or -1 are
displayed, and indicate the result
of the check.
