MAINTENANCE RECORD KEEPING

Boiler log sheets should be completed on a regular basis, this provides invaluable information in
the subsequent investigation of the boiler history. Maintenance log sheets can be found in the
Fulton boiler Log Books provided by Fulton.

1. Visual Inspection of pipework, fittings and hand holes for signs of leakage.
2. Low Water Level Check - low water indicator illuminate, alarm sound and burner cuts-out.
3. Blowdown, Boiler

5. Pressure gauge reading for blowdown tests.
Boiler water and water treatment values must be within known tolerances of the datum.

10. Feedwater Pump Test - Feedwater pump, start/stop
11. Safety valve outlet pipe to safe blowdown point and free of damage
