Programming with DSC – Phone book

Add entry

• Press / to select "Add entry" and
press OK.
• Press / to select the memory bank
for the entry, e.g.:
"SIM card" or "Phone" and press OK.
• Enter the new telephone number and
press OK.
• Use the numbers keys to enter the
name and press OK.
• Enter the position and press OK.
If you do not enter a position the name and
number will be saved at the next available
position.
If you enter a position which already has a
name and number allocated to it, "Over-
write?" will appear in the display.
Press OK to overwrite the previous entry
(this entry will be deleted).
To add the next entry
• Press OK.
If you are not in this menu, you can add
entries if you press ME for approx. 1 sec-
ond. (Refer to "Save telephone numbers and
names".)

Access

• Press / to select "Access" and
press OK.
Access
• Press / to select the memory bank,
e.g.:
"SIM card" or "Phone" and press OK.
• Press OK to confirm your selection.
• Enter your access code.
"Phone"
On – It is not possible to access the tele-
phone numbers saved in the phone
memory bank.
Off – All of the locks have been removed
for the phone.
"SIM card"
On – It is not possible to access the tele-
phone numbers saved on the SIM
card
Off – All of the locks have been removed
for the SIM card.
"All"
On – It is not possible to access the tele-
phone numbers stored in the tele-
phone memory bank or on the SIM
card. It is not possible to store new
telephone numbers.
Off – All of the locks have been switched
off.
"No locks"
– No locks have been activated for
the SIM card or the phone.

Capacity

Use this function to determine how much
storage capacity is available on the SIM card
and in the telephone memory bank.
• Press / to select "Capacity" and
press OK.
