Additional Information
If a DHCP server is running on the network, it is possible to set its IP address by DHCP. Check
DHCP on IP Configuration Protocol. However, this is limited to when you only wish to connect
one camera.
Connecting multiple cameras
There are following ways for connecting multiple cameras.
• Install multiple network adapters.
• Use network adapter with multiple ports.
• Use switching HUB.
Refer to 1-2-5 Setup of camera connection on page 1-10 for connection settings.
Additional Information
For both cases, set persistent IP address for each cameras which is not duplicated with other
devices.
In the case of using the PC with multiple Ethernet ports, each adapter must have IP address
which network address is different from other Ethernet ports.
The network address can be calculated from the logical product (AND) between the IP address
and network mask.

Setup of Software

Installation
Setup standard FJ software from installation CD, following the steps below.

Insert installation CD into PC. Then setup program starts automatically.

Click Install button for FJ Series Software. Then setup for camera device driver starts.
