Procedure
1. Connect the operator panel to the inverter.
2. Start data transfer in the menu "UP/DOWNLOAD" -
"Panel to drive".
3. Switch off the inverter power supply.
4. Wait until all LEDs on the inverter are dark. Now
switch on the inverter power supply again. Your
settings only become effective after this power-on
reset.
You have transferred the settings to the inverter.

Other ways to back up settings

In addition to the default setting, the inverter has an internal memory for backing up three
other settings.
On the memory card, you can back up 99 other settings in addition to the default setting.

Write protection

The write protection prevents unauthorized changing of the inverter settings. If you are
working with a PC tool, such as STARTER, then write protection is only effective online. The
offline project is not write-protected.
Write protection is applicable for all user interfaces:
● Operator Panel BOP-2 and IOP-2
● STARTER PC tool
● Parameter changes via fieldbus
No password is required for write protection.
