8-2. Steps to take in an emergency

Fire extinguisher

A fire extinguisher is located under the front passenger's seat. It
is for use in emergencies, such as in the event of a fire.
For information about usage, refer to the label on the fire extin-
guisher.

Taking out the fire extinguisher

Unhook the tightening strap and
take out the fire extinguisher.
The shape of the fire extinguisher
and tightening strap, and the taking
out procedure may differ from
those shown in the illustration.

After using the fire extinguisher

Store it securely in place. Replace it with a new one as soon as possible.
