    Product description 3.3 Functional description The unfiltered drinking water flows into the filter from the inlet side and then from the outside in through the filter element and to the pure water outlet. Thus, foreign particles of > 100 µm in size are retained.

    Installation Installation The installation of a filter represents a major intervention into the drinking water system and may only be performed by a specialist installer. The pureliQ filters are installed in accordance with DIN EN 806-2 and DIN 1988-200 in the cold water line downstream of the water meter and upstream of distribution lines or the devices to be protected.

    Installation 4.1 Requirements for the installation site Observe local installation directives, general guidelines and technical specifications. The installation site must be frost-proof and ensure the filter's protection from chemicals, dyes, solvents, vapours and direct sunlight. The installation location must be away from heat sources (e.g. washing machines, boilers and hot water pipes).
