1.2 Setting up the controller

For the correct operation of the controller, specific parameters need to be
set. The most important settings are discussed in the following chapters.

1.2.1 Determining the sensor type

At the factory, the controller is set to a type-K thermocouple. If you are using
a different sensor type (for instance Pt100), you will find the correct setting
in the table below (Figure 6). Next to the type number is a number
(1 through 29).
