Start up problems
Ignition Problem
lack of compression
high consumption and low performance
inefficient braking
inefficient suspension
irregular automatic transmission
exhaust noise
stand does not return to position
Cause
No fuel in tank
Filters, jets or carburettor body dirty or clogged
Insufficient battery charging
No spark from spark plug. Due to the presence of
high voltage, this check should only be carried out
by an expert.
Spark plug adapter "worn", valve clearance not
adequate; worn piston gas rings
Air filter blocked or dirty.
Oil on drum/ Worn out Shoes
Incorrect brake adjustment
Worn brake pads
Front brake disc loose or deformed
Air bubbles inside the hydraulic system
Fluid leakage in hydraulic system
Inefficient shock absorbers, oil leakage,
deteriorated end of stroke buffers.
Deteriorated variable speed rollers and/or driving
belt and/or clutch
Depression tube damaged
Presence of dirt

Remedies
Refuel

Rechage battery
Check that the plug gap is properly set (0.7 to 0.8 mm).
Check that the electrodes areclean (clean with pure petrol and
metal brush).
Check the spark plug insulator.
Replace the spark plug if the insulator is cracked or broken. If the
spark plug is in good conditions, contact our Piaggio 2W
Authorized Dealer.
