Before use
Before you use the blender for the first time, please read the instruction manual carefully
and keep it for future use.
Wash the jug, the lid and the filling lid in warm water with dishwashing detergent. Please
note that the knife at the bottom of the glass jug is extremely sharp and shall be handled
with care. The knife unit can be removed and washed separately. Read more in "Cleaning
and maintenance".
Use a damp cloth for cleaning the motor unit.

How to use the blender
The appliance is suitable for blending, chopping, pureeing and mixing of e.g. milk shakes,
baby food, soups and sauces. Furthermore, it can be used for crushing ice for drinks.
After cleaning the blender is assembled as follows: Position the glass jug upside down.
Mount the knife holder in the opening at the bottom of the jug. Next, mount the knife
with the locking ring by screwing it counter-clockwise (TIGHTEN). Put the jug on the
motor part and turn it clockwise towards the locked padlock icon on the motor part in
such way that the arrow at the base of the jug points towards the corresponding arrow
at the motor part. Make sure that the jug is securely engaged.
The motor makes the knife blades rotate fast in order to assure a thorough blending.
Consequently, it is important that the blender is always placed on an even and dry surface
before being switched on. Please also check that the jug is correctly mounted on the
motor part. If not, the appliance will not start.
