Remove the knife part from the glass jug and clean it separately as follows: Put the glass
jug upside down and disengage the sealing ring at the underside of the jug by turning it
clockwise (LOOSEN). Note that the rubber gasket cannot be loosened. Remove the knife
unit and clean it carefully with a washing-up brush. Wipe. Note that the knives are
extremely sharp.
Put the knife unit back into the opening of the glass jug, secure the knife with the sealing
ring by turning it counter-clockwise (TIGHTEN). Be sure to secure the sealing ring correctly.
Put the glass jug back on the motor part.
IMPORTANT!
NEVER IMMERSE THE MOTOR PART IN ANY KIND OF LIQUID!
Safety instructions

Children are not always able to understand potential risks. Teach children a
responsible handling of electrical appliances.
7. Check that the cord is not hanging over the edge of the table.
8. Do not place the appliance on or near hotplates, open fire or the like.
9. The appliance should only be used under supervision.
10. The appliance should be handled with care, as the knife is very sharp! Do
not touch the knife while it is operating. Be careful that neither fingers nor
accessories get into contact with the knife!
11. Always examine appliance, cord and plug for damage before use. If the supply cord is
damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, or his service agent or a similarly
qualified person in order to avoid a hazard.
12. The electrical installation must comply with the present legislation concerning
additional protection in the form of a residual current device (RCD) with a rated
residual operating current not exceeding 30 mA. Check with your installer.
13. The appliance is for domestic use only.
14. If the appliance is used for other purposes than intended, or is it not handled in
accordance with the instruction manual, the full responsibility for any consequences
will rest with the user. Any damages to the product or other things are not covered
by the warranty.
