3. Route EC harness down driver-side A-pillar.
a) Route power harness along factory harness in
driver-side A-pillar. (Fig. 3-3)
b) Secure power harness to factory harness with
three (3) tie wraps. (Fig. 3-3)
CAU TION
!
Verify mirror harness path is clear of air bag (if equipped).
CAUTION
!
Do not tie wrap harness to sunroof drain tube (if equipped).
c) Cut excess material off tie wraps.
4. Route power harness to driver-side kick-plate area.
a) Route power harness through driver-side
instrument panel and into kick-plate area.

Connect Harness Power and Ground
1. Attach wire tap connectors to B+ and +12V ignition.
a) Locate the wire bundle in the driver-side kick
plate area. (Fig. 4-1)
b) Remove electrical tape wrapping as required
to access wires.
c) Locate Orange / Black-stripe wire (B+) in the
kick plate wire bundle.
d) Using pliers, secure wire tap to
Orange / Black-stripe wire. (Fig. 4-2)
e) Locate the Orange / Yellow-stripe wire (+12V)
in the bundle.
f) Using pliers, secure wire tap to
the Orange / Yellow-stripe wire. (Fig. 4-2)
