Connecting the Test Station Power Cable

Once all cables and lines have been connected to the modular power supplies and the ARES-G2 test sta-
tion, connect the power cable.
Install the power cable as follows:
1 Make sure the power switch on the lower power supply module is in the Off (O) position.
2 Plug the large, multi-pin cable from the lower power supply to the appropriate connection on the rear
of the ARES-G2 test station, as shown in the figure below.
3 Connect the grounding wire to the cabinet, as shown in the figure below.
4 Plug the power cord from the lower power supply module into the wall outlet.
CAUTION: Before plugging the power cable into the wall outlet, make sure the instrument is com-
patible with the line voltage. Check the label on the back of the unit to verify the voltage.
