GENERAL INFORMATION
SNO W MOBILE IDENTIFICATION
The Arctic Cat Snow mob ile has t wo ident if icat ion
numbers: The Vehic le Identi ficati on Number (VIN)
is stamped int o t he tunn el near t he righ t side
footrest (Fig .
1).
The engin e seria l number is
stamped int o th e crankcase on the int ake side of
the engine (Fig . 2). The engi ne mode l number is
locat ed on the eng ine magneto housi ng.
These numbers are required by the dea ler to corn-
plete warranty cla im s properly. No warranty w ill
be allowed by Arctic if the eng ine seria l number or
VIN is removed or muti iated in any way.

cerning owner responsibility and provisions of the
warranty. .

VIN
Always provide the snowmobile name, VIN,
engine seria l number, and engine mode l num ber
w hen contact ing an authorized Arct ic Cat
Sno wmobi le dealer for part s, se rvice, ac-
cessories , or warranty. If the compi et e en gine
must be replaced, ask the deaier to notify Arctic
for co rrect regi strat ion informati on.
