mm (0.020
in.).
Varying

Spark Plugs
To see if the spark plugs being used are of the pro-
per heat range
after
the sno
wmobi le has
been
ope
rated
unde
r
normal
driving

nditions, pull

g caps off
the spark plu
gs,
remove
th
e
spa
rk plu
gs,
and examine
the cond
it ion
of
th
e
cente
r
el
ectrode
insul ator of
each
spark
plug (Fig .

information.
It
may be wise to consult you

dealer before chang-
ing spark plugs, as incorrect heat-range spa
rk
plugs could cause poor engine performance
or
engine
damage.
CAUTION
If
only
one
spark plug
is light gray,
white,
or
hlack and
the other
spark
plug
is
tali or
light
brown,
take the
snowmohile to an authorized Arctic
Cat
Snowmobile
dealer
for inspection and servicing.
