INSTALLATION

Space Requirements
The minimum space requirements for installation of the ABR2300/AR23 are as shown in the following
illustration.

Installation
NOTE
Install the Reader Printer close to an easily accessible power supply.
Since environmental conditions greatly affect the performance of the ABR2300/AR23, avoid installing it in
the following locations:
.
An area exposed to direct sunlight.
.
In the direct air stream of an air conditioner, heater, or ventilator.
.
Where there is poor ventilation.
.
Where it might be splashed with water.
.
An area which is neither stable nor horizontal.
.
A dusty location.
.
A location subject to undue vibration.
.
A place subject to sudden fluctuations in either temperature or humidity. Print quality may be
adversely affected and condensation may form inside the Print engine under such conditions.
NOTE
If the machine is placed near a window, ensure that the Screen faces inside, not the window.
Power Source

Use an electrical outlet which provides power source voltage ± 10%.
CAUTION
Although ozone is generated while using the reader printer, the total volume of generated ozone
does not reach a level of danger liable to harm users.
