Selection of the printing mode

The printer must be commissioned according to the user instructions
"Protocol printer PDR 203" (UBF 543/6 - 1 689 979 755).
Then the printer must be set up. Settings for this can be found in
the operating instructions "Setting up the PDR 203" (UBF 543/1-1
- 1 689 979 752).
When printing measurement protocols in Greek or in Japanese
(Katakana), other parameters must be set for the printer, or a
special printer must be used. Your national representative will be
able to assist with details and information.
The following picture (display) appears after that the softkey F1
„Subprogram printer" has been pressed:
F1: Enter calling of the subprogram „workshop address for
report printer" (see section 6.2).
F6: Change-over of the printing mode between:
Measuring report/printing of measured values
(symbol 88)
hardcopy/printing of the complete screen display with
status line and softkey line (symbol „ABC"). After the
Motortester is turned off, it automatically resets itself to
measurement report printout (no permanent storage).

Enter the workshop address for the report printer

Each time it is turned on, during about 30 seconds, data for the
workshop address and the stored engine types are read from the
internal memory.
This data cannot be changed during this time.
After the softkey F1 has been pressed „workshop address for
report printer" the following picture appears:
F1-F4: Every time according to the mode, the cursor softkeys
are activated in the enter line or in the selection mode.
F5: Change-over between enter mode and selection mode.
F6: Switching over normal characters/bold faced characters
The workshop address is edited in format A 4 by the record
printer. You can print at most 300 characters in 12 lines. In normal
characters, there are 80 characters every line and 40 in bold
faced characters. We recommend in first to design a pattern of
the text to be entered.
