IKELY CAUSE
E1
The controller does not communi-
cate with one or more connected
units.
This fault may occur:
• when a connected unit has been
removed or replaced;
• due to a short failure in the
power supply to a connected
unit;
• due to incorrect cabling;
• due to a defect.
E2
Units that have an unallowed or
unknown unit code, or an unallowed
combination of unit codes, are con-
nected.
The controller is live but does not
communicate with some unit.
E6
Freezing risk due to too low dis-
charge air temperature. Frost pro-
tection has been activated (see
section 2.5.2).
Freezing may cause damage to
the heat exchanger.
F1
Fault in the automatic angle adjust-
ment.
F4
The temperature sensor in the con-
troller is defective.
F5
The temperature sensor in the dis-
charge section does not work.

HAT TO DO
1. Reset the controller (see section 8.3).
2. Check if mains power is supplied to all connected
units.
3. Check the control cables:
1. Check and compare the unit codes on the type
plate (see sections 1.3.4 and 2.13).
1. Reset the controller (see section 8.3).
2. Check the control cables.
1. Ensure that the temperature in the room gets
higher than 8ºC.
2. Check the operation of the CH system.
3. Check the discharge temperature sensor's wiring and
connection (connector X350).
You can prevent this fault by instructing the unit to switch
on the CH system in case of freezing risk (see section
2.15.4 and table 3-1).
1. Delete the fault message (see section 7.4.2).
2. In the controller, change the desired room tempera-
ture such that the controller switches from heating to
cooling, or the other way around, and check if the
angle adjustment ring moves.
3. Remove any obstacles from the angle adjustment
ring's range.
4. Check wiring and connectors between the adjust-
ment motor, the microswitch and the PCB.
5. Replace the angle adjustment drive.
1. Replace the controller.
1. Check the sensor's wiring and connection (con-
