Connecting the unit to the CH and CW systems

2.5.1 Particulars

Caution:
The supply and return pipes of the CH and CW systems
must be connected to the appropriate corresponding con-
nections 1. The directions are indicated on the unit by
means of arrows.

Warning:
Maximum water temperature ranges for the CC S:
- CC H2-S: 80/60°C
- CC H3-S: 70/50°C

Warning:
Use only compression fittings for connecting the
unit to the system. Table 2-2 lists the diameters of
the compression fittings per unit type.

Warning:
Prevent the pipes from twisting.

Caution:
Biddle recommends to include, close to the unit, a shut-off
valve and a relief valve in both pipes.
The maximum permissible operating pressure of the hot
water circuit is specified on the type plate (see section
1.3.4). This pressure applies at a water temperature of
110 ºC.
2.5.2 Units without water side control CC S
1. Connect the unit to the CH system.
2. Fill and bleed the system.
3. Check the connections for leaks.
