Installation
Installing the DBS
DBS installation is carried out only after the site survey has been completed to identify suitable
locations (see Chapter 3). Switch off power to the DECT system and remove the power cord if nec-
essary before starting installation.

Tools Required

You need the following items in order to install a DBS.
! DBS unit
! Wall-mount bracket
! Power drill
! Hammer
! Cross-head screwdriver
! Rawl plugs (2)
! Screws (2)
! If you are mounting the DBS on a wall made of a hard material such as marble or steel, you
will need a wooden board larger than the wall-mount bracket.

Fixing the Wall-Mount Bracket

The method for fixing the wall-mount bracket differs depending on the wall material. The first
method described is for mounting the bracket on a concrete wall. The second is for mounting on
walls made of harder materials, such as marble or steel, which require a wooden mounting board.

1. Place the wall-mount bracket against the wall and mark two screw hole positions with a pen or
pencil.
